Survey Update
As we approach the survey's two year anniversary, I find myself thinking back to when I was quite excited to begin this endeavor. Having just finished reading Reginald Piggott's Handwriting: A National Survey, I was determined to catalog all the handwriting that was sent my way. So why, after two years, are there not even fifty samples? Piggott's simple newspaper advertisements garnered him thousands within days. Simply put, life got in the way. I began my first real teaching job and haven't looked back. Now, with a baby girl on the way, I have found things that excite me more than handwriting. Don't get me wrong, I still admire any unique scribble that comes my way. I'll also keep posting samples emailed to me. But for now, I'm going to let life get in the way and enjoy every bit of it.
